Kishimoto Masashi is the name of the mastermind and genius behind the scenes. He's the one who has created all those wonderful characters, the one who basically is at fault for us being broke since the publishment of
Naruto - and he's the one who makes us suffer each week and straines our nerves to no extent. In short, it's clear that this man has an immense influence on all our lives - so who is he exactly?

..he caught sight of Ootomo Katsuhiro's movie "Akira." On his walk home, Kishimoto-sensei suddenly came across a movie poster for "Akira", which had fascinated him and without doubt, which exerted an immensely emotional effect on him. Since then Kishimoto continuesly drew hopes out of this picture, in order to get closer to his, more or less, "idol". |

Since then Kishimoto-sensei kept working really hard, and finally, beginning in 1999 his first big success took place -
Naruto was published weekly in the Shounen Jump magazine.
