extreme power born - enter the 3-Tails

Only a short period of time after the incident with Sai (here), Naruto & co finally came across Kabuto and Orochimaru. As soon as Orochimaru caught sight of Naruto, he started taunting him, saying things like "I'll tell you who has become stronger.. your or Sasuke-kun." Alone by those words Naruto's inner rage got incited and he muttered a scary "Give.. Sasuke back..".

Kabuto chimed in and added insult to injury while he calmly repeated that Sasuke came on his own will and it's not at all about "giving back". When Orochimaru started to more or less scoff about Naruto's strength ("Why don't you try to force us to something? If you can, that is..") Naruto completely lost it and took off to beat up the other two.
..which is nothing nothing compared to what should follow. As soon as Orochimaru had recovered from Naruto's attack, he almost casually mentioned he'd like to see if his (refering to himself) "Sasuke-kun" had gotten stronger than the "Kyuubi-boy". Naruto went completely berserk (or well, 3-tails) and was beside himself with rage; and that, because Orochimaru talked as if Sasuke belonged to him.
"In my presence.. don't you dare talk of Sasuke as though he belongs to you!!"
Naruto, Chapter 291

In the following fight, one got a glimpse on Naruto's mind for a few time. It showed himself nearly drowning in water-like Chakra, which was slowly but surely overtaking himself. Furthermore he was trying to catch up with Sasuke who still seemed to be so far away from him. Once he got engulfed in the boiling chakra, he desperately reached out to Sasuke, begging him to wait..

It is simply unbelievable to see how much Sasuke affected Naruto, mentally, in such a state. Even now when the Nine-Tails was trying to take over his body, everything in Naruto screamed for Sasuke to wait and to come back. The boling chakra in form of water which started swamp all over Naruto, could be seen as some kind of symbol. As for me, I immediately had to think of Naruto's mind, which is strong from outside, but deep down Naruto's torn and bleeding because of Sasuke's loss. Naruto's about to drown in his own dreams, aims and all efforts - and now, desperate as he was at that point of time, it almost seemed as if he was willing to let the Nine-Tails help him, if it was just to save Sasuke.

"Take a look at that.. willing to become this, just to rescue Sasuke-kun.."
Kabuto, Chapter 296

Those words by Kabuto really startled me because of two reasons - he was right. Naruto really putup with everything and sacrificed himself even if there is only a chance of 1% to rescue Sasuke.. but either way, what I truly found remarkable was Naruto's decision a bit later.

While Orochimaru escapted together with Sai and Kabuto, Captain Yamato used a technique by the first Hokage to stop Naruto. Before they took off to chase Orochimaru and the rest, Captain Yamato talked with Naruto about his chance to see Sasuke if he relied on the Nine-Tails' power, but if he did that, he wouldn't use his own strength. Naruto realises he got impatient the last time, but his eyes show true determination to bring Sasuke back by his own power without the help of anyone.
